I’ve recently moved to Bangkok – it’s a crazy city.
I’ve been traveling and living in a lot of different cities and countries in the past 8 years, ever since I left home for university:
- * Christchurch, New Zealand
- * Indianapolis, United States
- * Auckland, New Zealand
- * Chiang Mai, Thailand,
- * Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
- * Now, Bangkok
Why do I move so much?
Just when I finally establish a social circle do I then move.
We all know that making friends is super difficult and not just any friend, but people that you click with and people that get you.
That’s what I had in each city, and recently, it was Chiang Mai. I met some amazing people there, but it’s time to move on.
One thing I noticed each time I moved was that I dramatically transformed as a human being.
It pushed me to go out and meet people. Pushed me to understand the layout of the land, and understand the social dynamics within that city.
It pushed me to go out and make my dreams a fucking reality.
You should know by now that the sun will rise and set no matter what you make of your day
And with Each day that is passing, you should be positioning yourself as a winner.
Too many of you aren’t.
Have you done something this past month to push yourself as a human being? Are you getting closer to your goal each day?
Do you even know what your goal is?
For how long are you going to sit on the sidelines enduring the inertia of your life?
There are AVERAGE men all around the world making more money than you, fucking hotter bitches, and doing what they want, while you sit at home with your dick in hand.
How many hours are you going to waste playing that stupid video game? Or watching Netflix?
“I had a long day; I need to relax.”
Don’t give me that shit. In a 10 hour work day, my guess is that you probably worked 3 hours total.
That’s less than a 50% efficiency.
Checking your emails, talking bullshit with your colleagues or taking shitty food pics of your “amazing” lunch IS NOT real work.
Now look, if you want to see the whole spectrum of life, you NEED to do shit that is not easy.
Sometimes, that involves moving to a new place, starting a business or talking to thousands of people.
Whatever it is, it should be pushing you to your limits.
It should SCARE YOU.
It should make you piss your pants.
If nothing is pushing you, then that’s boring.
You should be playing life on HARD MODE every day – Netflix and video games IS NOT hard at all.
You will very rarely find me watching TV or playing video games. Who has time for that shit?
Chiang Mai got way too comfortable for me. The price for everything was CHEAP – $2 meals, $8 one-hour massages, $300-400 per month accommodation for a nice place.
I had a great social circle there.
Life was just too dam amazing….
That’s when I knew I had to get out.
I had to rock my life and turn shit upside down once again, which means moving to a new city.
Look at yourself in the mirror and ask yourself, “is life too easy right now?”
